This method is similar but this one isnt for inapp purchases its for purchasing apps, books, movies.
METHOD:
-Go to the google play store and go to the app, book or movie that you want
I have only tried it with apps, but if you try with a movie or book make sure that you buy the book or movie dont rent it so that the item downloads in your mobile device (it has to be lower than 10$)
-Make sure that the item you want is less than 10$
-Buy it with whatever payment option you want, I have only tried with Google Balance
-Once you purchased it let it download and when it has finished sign out of the google account
you bought the item with
-Within 48 hours, better right after go with your computer to the sitehttps://play.google.com/store/account/orderhistoryand sign in with the google account you bought the app with
-Then you will see the item that you purchased you will click on the three dots in the right side of your purchase and click on refund and select that you purchased it by error put the same in the text box after and if the item was less than 10$ it will refund it automaticly and you will still have the item downloaded or the app
-After this you could sign in again with the google account you bought the item in your mobile device and when you sign in back you will have your balance refunded and your account will not remember that you have refunded it and it wont be deleted but it wont have updates. Signing out after the purchase is a very important step.
