So, I get that Mincecraft and first person shooters are popular and Fortnite is basically a mash up of the two of them, plus Battle Royale is awesome although I doubt it appeals to the same audiences, but can someone explain to me why this game is so popular? It's even influencing other game makers to follow the same formula like COD's Blackout mode. I just don't get the appeal honestly.
