Easy peasy Pancakes
These pancakes are absolutely excellent for Breakfast or Brunch
Takes about 20 minutes if you have everything on hand
For about2 peoplei usually go with
- 1 big ass egg (or 2 medium/small ones)
- 100g flour
- 100ml milk
- 30g white refined sugar (or whichever sugar you like)
- 15-20g baking soda / a tablespoon
- a lil bit of melted butter
- a pinch of salt
~Have two bowls, a whisk or a fork, a spatula and a pan ready~
Toss the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a large bowl. In the seperate bowl you whisk the milk and the egg/s together and add the melted butter when its slightly cooled off. Don't want the butter to be so hot that it cooks the egg. Then you gently stir everything together.
Pancake Protip: Don't overstir! If you beat your mixture so hard it loses the airyness that makes pancakes so nice, you did something wrong my guy. Be nice to your pancakes and they will be nice back.
You wanna get your pan on medium heat and use just a little bit of oil or butter (butter's better if you want more of that flavour but a lot less healthy than sunflower seed oil). Don't make your pan steaming hot or you'll get a burnt outside and a gooey uncooked inside. Gently pour a test pancake in, make sure to only pour as much as you can still comfortable flip with your spatula. Let that bad boi sit in there for half a minute or a little bit more in case the edges arent firmed up yet and flip it.
With the amount of mixture you get from this, you'll make up to 6 or 8 pancakes depending on how big or small you make them.
I like to put some honey over them and snacc some fruit with it in the morning.
Aite now go make pancakes for your mum next weekend, she'll appreciate it
