I hope this is not forbidden as I saw that " x ory" is forbidden, but it is not explained, if it is, please delete this post.
I saw on Reddit that a lot of steam users are unhappy because games like Borderlands 3, Metro: Exodus and many more are going exclusive for 6 months ( maybe more than 1 year+ to get on steam)
My opinion is that they are braindead and their arguments seem retarded (I'm talking about the Reddit users that are talking on games subs).
They say that they don't want to use epic because it has "low security and malware launcher", but epic is pushing 2FA a lot and it is not their fault that Epic Games users ( I think the majority are kids) won't take 2 minutes to install 2FA, Steam is forcing you to do this.
They also think that "Hackers" are "hacking" their accounts because of the epic games security, not because 12 yo kids are using slayer leecher to check their accounts from databases. They forgot when your steam account was getting "hacked" every few months and the support was not helping you too much.
Also, the developers take 88% of the revenue for exclusivity instead of 70%( on steam), so this will help a lot of developers and it will make steam drop their tax as well, so this is good for developers>more good games
I think that the epic launcher looks a LOT better than steam '90s design. They cry because their friends won't see now how many games they have and how many hours they play...
Steam dickridersare saying that they will pirate a game fromepicgameslauncher instead, even if that game is on another company launcher, so for the most of them, they just have something personal with Epic Games(I think because offortnite)
Overall I think Epic Games Launcher is ok and they just started to work on their launcher to be a game market, steam is here for a very very long time, Epic Games is also improving fast their launcher based on what the users complain about...
