Drum Kit Web App in JavaScript and jQuery Free Source Code

Introduction

This project is entitled Drum Kit Web App. I developed this project in JavaScript and jQuery Library. This is a web-based application that allows users to play drums virtually or online. I am sharing this source code to help new programmers especially the IT/CS students or self-learners that are planning to create or develop like this project. The application uses Bootstrap Framework for designing the user interface. I have also used the jQuery library to lessen some javascript codes. It is easy and fun to use.

About the Drum Kit Web App

I developed this project using the following:

The Drum Kit Web App is a simple virtual drum kit. The user can play drums using his/her keyboard, mouse, or by tapping (mobile, touch screens devices). The virtual drum set is composed of different images. Each part of the drum kit images has specific audio which is also included in the project. The audio will be automatically played using the JavaScript/jQuery Event Lister. Aside from the audio, the images also have an animation. Each drum kit part scales down its size every time they are triggered.

The Drum Kit can be played using the following keyboard keys:

The project source code is available on this website. You can download the source code for free and you can modify it the way you desired. This project was only developed for educational purposes only.

How to Run ??

1. Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
   
2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
   
3. Locate the index.html file in the extracted source code folder.
   
4. Browse the Drum Kit Web App's index.html file in a browser. i.e. file:///C:/user101/drum_kit/index.html.
