Does anyone else feel compelled to do "redemption cooks"?

I go to a restaurant, order something that sounds good with some anticipation, and if I'm disappointed I feel like I have to make up for it or my memory of that dish is tainted. Like I just went out for barbecue and was served the most disappointing brisket in recent memory. Now I'm going to have brisket on the brain until I make a good one to erase the memory.
