Sup, this tutorial is super basic, for anyone just picking photoshop up this will help a lot, probably, I dunno, I'm bored, so I'ma make one.
Step 1: Download some brushes, google it.
Step 2: Open Photoshop.
Step 3: Make a new image, 550x200 is Nulled's max. Make sure it's transparent.
Step 4: Copy this picture;
I'm not going to point the obvious out on what your results should be after doing that.
Step 5: Grab your brush tool from the side bar on the left and load up some brushes, I recommend grunge brushes to start out.
Step 6: Make a new layer.
Step 7: Change your foreground color to white and use the brush's in various places on the new layer (Don't fill it, you want to leave gaps ect for the next step).
Step 8: Repeat step 7, alternating black and white for each new layer you make until it looks something like this;.
Step 9: Create another layer, this time grabbing your paint bucket tool, make sure your foreground color is the color scheme you want your signature to be, fill the new layer and change the layer properties to Overlay or Soft light.
Step 10: Grab a render from google, anime or whatever the hell you want, I say snag one from google because if this tutorial is actually helping you, you don't know how to make them yet.
Step 11: Make a new layer (Under or above your color layer depending on if you used a black and white render or just want to add the color layer hue to the already colored render. You may need to resize the render (CTR+T) Or go into Image and Image Size and adjust it there so it fits well enough, you should have something like this.
Step 12: Now that you've got the "Hard part" done, it's time to add some text, hopefully you have more than Arial installed, find your T (For text) button on the left and throw your name on there. (It'll blend better if you put it under the color layer as well, typically) The color is up to you on what you use for the text, I prefer white as it's easier to change/blend ect.
Step 13: Right click your text layer and click blending options, play with these, usually drop shadow is good enough for something this basic.
Step 14: After you're done with all that, create ANOTHER layer, this time, grabbing the rectangle marque tool, select the entire signature (The outside of it or the border of it) You should have dotted lines around the entire signature, once that's there, right click and click "Stroke" - Stroke with whichever color you like, I personally default to black. You should have something similar to this.
Congratulations, you've made your first(ish) signature. All that's left is to click "File" "Save for Web" and pick your format (JPG Max).
Your finished product should look similar to this.
I hope this is of some help to you guys, if not, I'm sorry. Feel free to post here and I'll continue to monitor it and help you along the way.
Enjoy, good luck, and please help to keep the graphics sections of Nulled as cancer free as possible.
If you followed this, I'd be interested in seeing your results, feel free to post them here.
