The Moscow City Court found Firuz Temirboevich Dadoboev, born in 1977, an IT specialist at one of the capital's commercial firms, who has dual citizenship, guilty of committing high treason in favor of the United States. By the court's decision, he was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a strict regime colony and a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
It was established that F. T. Dadoboev, in possession of information obtained illegally and constituting a state secret, guided by criminal intent, intended to transfer it to a representative of American intelligence. For these purposes, he established contact with the CIA.
As a result of operational-search activities, in October 2022, while attempting to transfer the collected classified materials, F. T. Dadoboev was detained by FSB officers.
The Investigative Department of the FSB of Russia opened and investigated a criminal case under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (High Treason).
Dadoboev F.T. admitted his guilt and repented of his actions.
