2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set this aside.
Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat the room-temperature butter, granulated sugar, light-brown sugar, and salt together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each one is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
