So i got this idea and coincedentally i have lot spice ingerdient i mean really lot. i don't know what to do so i ask Mrs Alice to help cook so she give me this recipe.
Ingredients:
Dry Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Wet Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional Ingredients:
1 ½ cups applesauce (unsweetened)
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts), optional
1 cup raisins or currants, optional
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or two 9-inch round cake pans.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugars:
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Alternate Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the applesauce. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Fold in Nuts and Raisins:
If using, fold in the chopped nuts and raisins or currants until evenly distributed in the batter.
Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan(s). Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The baking time may vary, so keep an eye on it.
Cool:
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Decorate (Optional):
Once the cake is completely cooled, you can frost or glaze it as desired. Consider using cream cheese frosting, vanilla glaze, or dusting with powdered sugar for a simple touch.
Serve and Enjoy:
Slice and serve your delicious Christmas Spice Cake! It's perfect for holiday gatherings and celebrations.
