Child's Day Care Management System in PHP/OOP with Free Source Code

Introduction

This project is entitled Child's Day Care Management System and was developed using PHP and MySQL Database. This is a web-based application that provides a website about a certain Child Day Care and gives an online platform for the parents to enroll their child. The application displays the relevant information about the Day Care which can be dynamically managed at the Admin Panel. This has a pleasant user interface and user-friendly functionalities.

About the Child's Day Care Management System

I developed this project using the following:

This Child's Day Care Management System has 2 modules which are the Management Module and the Public Module:

The Management Module is the part of the system which is the Admin Panel where the management can manage information that is published to the public. This side of the system can be accessed by 2 user roles which are the Administrator and the Staff. The Admin has permission to access and manage all the features and functionalities of this side while the staff have only limited access.

The Public Module is the side of the system that is accessible for all users or visitors. Users can explore the list of the Day Care's Services/Programs, Babysitters, and other Information. Visitors/Parents can also enroll their child on this side.

The system also has some features that can help or can give the end-users a better experience while using the system. The project list has a pagination feature and a search feature.

How to Run ??

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
  

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start Apache and MySQL.
   
2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
   
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
   
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
5. Create a new database naming cdcms_db.
   
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as cdcms_db.sql located inside the database folder.
   
7. Browse the Child's Day Care Management System in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
