Today I bring you a post in which I come to teach you how to check your ping in league of legends and how to improve it without downloading anything! Not even the game !! It can be useful if you are going to use a computer or connection where you do not know if you will have a good ping, or if you are going to use a VPN, etc ...
1-Open your CMD/Terminal and put the next command without "":
Mac or Linux: "ping [SERVER-IP]"
Windows:"ping -t [SERVER-IP]"
2-Replace [SERVER-IP] for the Server IP :obvious: that you want to check the ping.
SERVER IP LIST:
NA: 104.160.131.3
EUW:104.160.141.3
EUNE:104.160.142.3
OCE:104.160.156.1
LAN:104.160.136.3
3- Your machine will start pinging the server and you will get somewhat like the next output
Response from 104.160.156.1: bytes=32 time=291ms TTL=29
Your ping will be the "time=291ms" section
4- Stop pinging when you got stable results
Recommendations to improve a bad ping: Use a wired connection if possible. That is, try to avoid Wi-Fi connections or you will lose packages. If you have a very limited connection, try to turn off or disable the connection to the other devices when you do the pings or play tests. It is not necessary to have optical fiber to be able to play correctly. I strongly recommend disabling any VPN or Proxy that is using your machine.
