Hi guys, in this post i will show some tips to boost your fps in Fortniteif you have a low resource pc(in my case, increased to +10 fps)
Tip #1
1- Go to this link (https://bit.ly/2J83yL6) and download the file.
2- Extract the zip file and copy .ini files of the folder "Game Files".
3- Press Win+R and write %appdata%, press enter.
4- Enter to AppData, Local, FortniteGame, Saved, Config, WindowsClient and paste all the files that you've copied before (replace if it's necessary).
Tip #2
(YOU MUST HAVE DONE THE TIP #1 BEFORE)
1- Go to folder "WindowsClient".
2- Open "Engine.ini", with WordPad or similar programs.
3- Then copy this:
4- Now you have to modify the code to gain some fps.
"r.ScreenPercentage"
Recommend you don't put a value under 40 because the view will be very blurry.
"r.Streaming.MipBias"
10 it's fine, you can put 20 but it will show you very low quality textures.
"r.ViewDistanceScale"
This can be important for people with a low quality ram or cpu. If you put a value under 0.3, characters in front of you will not have animations so it will be impossible to aim them and shoot.
The other two are to save GPU. It's good with that value but if GPU isn't your problem you can increase it to 1.
Tip #3
It's simple but effective to people with a cpu bottle neck.
(This can cause crashes or in worst of the cases, a BSOD)
1- Open Task Manager with the game started.
2- Go to Fortnite and then "Details".
3- Then, click "Set Priority" and select "High".
These are the tips, please give a like if this was useful for you!
