We just received some information that there are still around 5000 people infected from the last hack attempts.
For your own peace of mind and computer safety please read the information below.
The last time this happened, people got their harddisks and files deleted, so we highly recommend everybody to take backups or at least enable "Volume Shadow Copies" for all of your harddisks (see description below), so you can restore all of your files if anything bad happens. The problem was originally caused by an infected prediction library, that automatically downloaded some malicious files to peoples computers.
We have already taken actions to prevent stuff like that to happen again and everybody who was affected and re-installed shortly after the last hack should be safe. We also added a section to the Bot of Legends - exe file, that cleans up remaining infections.
So if you were infected by the last incident and did not reformat your computer recently - please take precautions. Enable Volume Shadow Copies: 1. Download and start ShadowExplorer ( 2. "File" -> "Configure System Protection ..." 3. "Configure" the protection for all of your harddisks so the list shows "Enabled/On" for the corresponding disk. 4. "Create" an initial snapshot for every disk.
