Confirmed on the Archeage Official Discord server, the infamous buy-to-play all the content game has moved to a DLC model, with Garden of the Gods, the latest expac, being paid DLC.
In addition to this, a fresh start server is being made for the low low price of $30 (The Gold package) you can relive Archeage from the ground up, free of the still-unbanned week one exploits https://snaptube.cam/https://9apps.cam/ and massively gold-seller influenced economy.
Relive your greatest adventures through un-updated leveling system in order to play with friends who have also spend $30 on what amounts to a new server blade.
Please do note that this was announced in the Discord server, not in the patch trailer or any official document of the game. It's clear they KNOW this decision is unpopular and will not advertise it.
