Hi, I've got a very specific question, more looking for some sort of advice on what I should actually do.
I recently found an apple watch SE which has been locked and needs apple ID verification. Naturally, I want one that doesn't need activation so I went ahead and purchased one on amazon. My intention is to take out the new (unlocked) apple watch and put the old one in and then send it back. I'm returning the box with everything in it, obviously without the correct apple watch, but there still will be one. When I spoke with the agent, I told them I was having irritation with the rubber on the box and I am looking to return it. I have gotten a shipping label and everything, but I am nervous that they will know the swap that occurred.
Is there anything you would recommend me doing beforehand?
Do you think the returns facility will check the product and know it's not the same apple watch or am I anxious about nothing?
