Anyone else take twice as long to cook something than the recipe says?

Yesterday I attempted a baked ziti for the first time. Found a decent recipe online, 25-30mins to bake, said 20 mins to prep. Cool.
Dude. It took me like an hour to make the meat sauce, noodles, and cheese mix, plus the time spent assembling the thing. Luckily I gave myself a little extra time, but dinner was still a good 20-30mins later than usual because I also made breadsticks.
This always happens, especially the first time I make a recipe because of bumbling and I also have a tiny kitchen. I always take twice as long as I should. Anyone else feel like the writers of online recipes lie about how long it takes to make food? Or am I just a cooking sloth? https://192168o1.com.br/https://19216801login.com.br/https://logintplink.com.br/
