Anyone can suggest VPN that can tunnel connection?(If that's the right term)

I'm trying to get free internet but can't seem to do so. I've read somewhere in the internet that I need a tunneler VPN because it can bypass ISP's firewall whilst the VPN only masks my connection. A complete guide would be well appreciated as well. Cheers!
