I am a teenager, living with my parents who are kind off orthodox, strict and conservative. Believers of stuff like race/caste/creed etc. Although they have never pubic-ally made these stuff like race/caste/creed, but still growing up I have seen these topics when it comes to marriage. Even some times I hear my parents discuss these stuff privately. They never bring these topics into our ears.
I feel miserable sometimes living with them, they think that sometimes it is necessary to shout/scream/beat children in order to correct them and bring them in the right path. Lol .I am still unable to digest some of their words.
Although they have raised me still this part, and I respect them. But still there are few incidents and few really bad memories that I have experienced, they think that they are correcting me by being strict conservative, orthodox etc, but I feel deprived through some of their actions. There is no way I can make them realize that they are wrong, what should be the best step for me to take right now so that I can live my life in my own terms?
