Hi, I'm vanillaskies an 18 year old female lost in the periphery of that thing called the internet. Normally, I don't know of the one liner introduction I'd say after telling you my name so I'd rather just say something like "Hi, I'm vanillaskies and I hate BTS". Which I know spikes a lot of hate in people against me but I guess it's everyone to themselves. So, I'm a bit of an audiophile and I like bands like Radiohead, The Strokes, Cage The Elephant, Gorillaz, Tame Impala, The Beatles (basically alternative rock and things in between) (plus, I make a mean spotify playlist if this is your poison). I also like Japanese classical and audio-books. I wish I had inbuilt earphones. I also love watching movies. Kurosawa, Hitchcock, Tarkovsky, Gasper Noe and Kar-Wai. To me movies are moving paintings. I also like watching Youtube videos that break these movies down. Speaking about Youtube, I'm a hard-core FlithyFrank fan, Pewdiepie, Aztrosist, Pyrocynical, Memeulous, Call Me Kevin, Game Theory and yeah I'm into light gaming as well. Undertale, Lisa, Stanley Parable, Yumme Nikki, MUDs and EarthBound (or Mother) kind of thing. I hate Instagram so I guess I'm a Redditor. And yeah I read classic literature. Emily Brontë, Nabakov, Tolstoy, Kafka, Woolf, Hemingway, Dumas and yeah, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and everything in between. To me even prose should be somewhat like poetry. I do write sometimes, when the words come to me. I also like reading manga and programming books. Which is sort of a nice mix but I'm hoping to expand my horizon over the years (open to any recommendations). I also would like to have a physical collection of all of these greatest works. The entire Criterion Movie collection if I could afford it, a bunch of music albums, book shelves that never end, a Steinway and that sick Pyrocynical tshirt. I also want to go to DEFCON and Japan at least once in this lifetime. I like to cook, draw, play basketball, make music, crack jokes, verbally stab people, sleep talk and yeah, that's me. I hope you could somewhat get an idea of who I might be.
