Due to the server issues it sometimes happens that when you click "post new topic" it gives you some error and you basically have to type it all again
So here's what you wanna do:
Click the little BB code icon on the top left before posting and copy everything with ctrl + a, ctrl + c
now when you post the thread and it doesn't work you can simply create a new thread, paste the bb code, press the bb code icon twice and everything should be back to normal, even links, formatting and colors
