This is borderline not Cracking so if there is a better place to post this let me know.
You know those bird/Jump scooters littering cities?
I have cracked the Hardware on a total of 15 of them (for free) to be used as personal scooters and flipped them.
Methods have floated around to purchase $40-100 parts to do what I am going to share on how to do it for free.
The requirement is that the scooter is a Segway ninebot ES1-4 (Just look it up)
There are three parts to the scooter the handlebars, shaft/battery, and the wheels.
Jump/Spin scooters put their technology that locks and unlocks it on the shaft/battery, bird puts it on the handle bars.
Simply take the handlebars off of a Jump/Spin scooter and put them on a bird scooter and now its unlocked for life with no GPS.
(Need a security bit for the swap)
For an added bonus I swap the wheels on the Jump scooters with the Birds because Jump is newer.
