The new OpenBullet 2 is cross-platform and thats great because now we can run it on Linux.In this guide I will explain all the steps needed to get OpenBullet 2 up and running on a linux system.
First of all visit
and download the OpenBullet2.zip file (do not select the source code option). Once you downloaded it, unzip it to a folder of your choice.
Now it’s time to install the asp.net core runetime by typing the following commands in the terminal:
sudo apt-get update && \ sudo apt-get install -y dotnet6
sudo apt-get update && \ sudo apt-get install -y aspnetcore-runtime-6.0
sudo apt-get install -y dotnet-runtime-6.0
sudo apt-get update && \ sudo apt-get install -y aspnetcore-runtime-6.0
Navigate to the folder where the file OpenBullet2.dll is located (the one you just unzipped) and launch a terminal there and then type the following command:dotnet ./OpenBullet2.dll
You should now be able to navigate tohttp://localhost:5000on your browser in order to see the OpenBullet 2 setup screen.
