This project was converted from C#, it is a Serial Barcode Reader Application that will check to see if a COM Port exists. It will
Open the Port, Read data, and Close the Port when it is done.
Then a Delegate is used to write to a UI control from a non-UI thread.
If an error occurs, it will automatically write the error to a log file. If the log file directory doesn't exist, it will create
one and write to it.
It is a working application and has been fully tested.
It was built on Visual Studio 2010 SP1 with .NET 4.
If you are using an earlier version of Visual Studio, you can easily downgrade it with no loss of functionality.
Note: Due to the size or complexity of this submission, the author has submitted it as a .zip file to shorten your download time. After downloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.
Virus note: All files are scanned once-a-day by SourceCodester.com for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them.
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, PLEASE:
1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.
