Gas Station Management System using Django in Python
This project is entitled Gas Station Management System. This is a web-based application developed in Python and Django Framework. This project provides an online and automated platform for Gas Station Businesses to manage their fuel inventory and sales transaction. The system stores the record of the fuel stock and automatically adds the added volume of fuel to the available volume on the specific petrol or fuel type. The application was also developed using the Bootstrap v5 Framework for the user interface. Aside from a pleasant user interface, this system consists of user-friendly features and functionalities.
About the Gas Station Management System
I developed this project using the following:
This Gas Station Management System Project is accessible only to the Gas Station Management. This application requires the users to log in with their registered user credentials in order to gain access to the features and functionalities of the system. After successful login in the system, the user is required to populate first the Petrol Type List when using the system for the first time. It requires to be filled first because the Petrol Type Data are required and linked to the other list such as for adding stocks for each Petrol offered by the Gas Station. Users can simply add new stock by filling the required fields of the Stock-in Form Modal. The added volume that is successfully added to the stock will automatically be added to the available fuel volume. On this system, the management can record the sales transaction of their business. Each sales transaction's fuel volume is also subtracted from the available volume. The Gas Station Management System also generates the printable Daily Sales Report.
