This project is entitled Student Project Allocation and Management System. This system allocates the project to the students in a school. The system stores the list of projects, students, and system users. The source code is easy to understand which would be a lot easier for the newbies to learn with. The system uses CRUD (Create, Read, Update, and Delete) Operations which is the common operation that is used when developing a web application that uses databases. I am sharing this source code to help other programmers especially those who are students or new to PHP Programming.

This project is free to download. Feel Free to download and modify the source code the way you desire. You might find something useful from this project and learn something for your own projects. This project was developed using PHP, MySQL Database, HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery and Ajax), and Bootstrap for the design.

How it Works

1. System users must enter his/her system credentials to access the system features and functionalities.
   
2. Populate the list of projects before the list of students.
   
3. Then, Populate the list of students. When adding a new student, the project allocating features also included in the form.
   
4. Click the small button that has a rotating arrow icon to change the project to allocate for the student.
   

How to Run

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
  
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)
  

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the "Apache" and "MySQL".
   
2. Extract the downloaded source code file.
   
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
   
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
5. Create a new database naming "allocate".
   
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as "allocate.sql" located inside the "db" folder.
   
7. Browse the Student's Project Allocation and Management System in a browser. i.e.
   Loading…

   localhost
