Khalil Shreateh, the newest internet sensation, after he successfully breached Facebook security by posting a message on Mark Zuckerberg's personal page receives a bounty not from Facebook but from internet users worldwide after the social network company refused to pay him.

A campaign started online by Marc Maiffret in an Indiegogo funding site GoFundMe.com has already exceeded it's target of $10,000 to be given to Khalil. Right now the fund reaches more than $12,400 and still live.

The Facebook Bounty Program is one of the successful project of Facebook and for the past two years based upon its update, Facebook paid out more than $1 million dollars to 329 people. Some recipient of the Facebook Bounty Program were students or part-timers, distributed across 51 countries. The minimum reward is $500 without upper limit, the largest single bounty reaches $20,000.

Khalil Shreateh came from Palestine, has a B.A. degree in Information Systems, describes himself as an "unemployee" as outlined on his official blog which got millions of hits after it was linked to various well-known website worldwide.

The Palestinian security researcher, Khalil, became an instant celebrity as he was featured not only by local news media organization but some of the world's most popular media company such as CNN made a coverage on his successful entry to the worldwide media.

Facebook have already made their official statement with regards to the vulnerability found by Khalil and assured that it was fixed already.
