Bought a key, activated it, raised a ticket for a refund. This was an Origin key so the seller asked me to send screenshots of
1. my origin game library and
2. ask origin support the date on which the key was activated
I asked origin support and they told me the date on which I had activated my key. I used "inspect element" to change the date to a previous one and sent the screenshot to the g2a seller with this message, "Here are the screenshots. EA Support are telling me the game was activated beforehand. Could you please arrange for a refund?" I simultaneously escalated the claim to G2A support. The seller then asked G2A support for the date on which I had purchased the key. They provided the date to him and asked him to provide a solution.
What do I do if:
1. The seller offers me another key? I don't want the hassle of having to sell it. I'm unlikely to make a profit.
2. The seller contacts EA support himself and they tell him that the key was activated after I had purchased it?
Some of you may ask why I didn't just use the paypal chargeback method. To this I would say, what if g2a responds to the paypal dispute?
