WANTED: TIPS FOR STARTING OFF INTO PROGRAMMING
I've been wanting to get into programming for a while and need some tips on where to start. I am able to understand and mess around with most simple coding, stuff that goes into different websites and applications and scripts but I would really like to be able to read and write them myself from the ground up. I have a pretty damn good knowledge of computers and would like to step it up. I need some tips, resources, and other general knowledge that could help me kick this off.
Whats a good starting language to learn in?
Any specific learning resources that would help?
What are some requirements for starting off?
