Hey guys, I have no photos for this but thought this tastes nice every time I make it, my partner taught me how to make it and I love it.
Ingredients:
- 1x Delmaine Alfredo Pasta Sauce 325g (Or Equivalent)
(Note you can use 2x Sauce if you want it to be very creamy)
- 2x Medium Sized Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1x Chilled Flat Pasta Egg Fettuccine
- 1x Medium/Large Sized Onion
- 4x Portobello Mushrooms
- Vegetables if youd like (I don't use them often but Cauliflower/Broccoli pairs well)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prep
- Wash your hands - Get 1 Pot large enough to fit the Fettuccine Pasta in it (Enough to submerge pasta fully in water)
- Get 1 Very Large Pot that will fit all ingredients in it.
(Note it does need to be big enough to fit the Pasta, Diced Chicken, Vegetables, Onion, Mushroom & Pasta Sauce in it)
Step 2: Egg Fettuccine Pasta Prep
- Put all of the Egg Fettuccine Pasta in a Pot/Saucepan with Hot Water
- Turn heat up to max on stovetop.
- Stir occasionally.
(Note the pasta takes a while to cook so we put this on now as its easy to keep it warm later if it finishes cooking prior to rest of ingredients)
Step 3: Chicken Prep
- Cut Chicken Breasts from the middle to create 2 halves.
- Dice Chicken into chunky smaller pieces and place them in a Pot/Saucepan with Oil.
- Turn heat up to max on stovetop.
(Note if you have a wooden spoon use this to move the diced pieces around as it cooks)
Step 4: Ingredients Prep
- Chop Onion up into either rings, diced, shreds, whatever you feel like.
(Note if you chop/cut Onion, do it near your tap in the sink, run the cold water whilst you prep the onion as you won't cry)
- Chop Mushroom up into small pieces.
- (Wait for Chicken to go whiteish and drain 90% of the oil)
- Add Onion and Mushroom (And Vegetables if you decided to include) to Chicken Pieces and stir.
Step 5:
- If the Fettuccine Pasta is cooked and soft (Taste test it) lower heat to simmer.
- Once the Onion/Mushroom/Chicken/Vegetables is cooked, Drain it fully of Oil/Liquid.
- Lower Heat to Low/Simmer.
- Add Alfredo Pasta Sauce to Pot/Saucepan and stir it in.
- Turn the Fettuccine Pasta off and add the pasta to the Chicken Pot/Saucepan.
Step 6:
- <strike>Put Fettuccine Mix into an airtight container and send it to me thanks.</strike>
- Stir Pasta into the Mixed Ingredients Saucepan/Pot and dish up, enjoy!
- Take a Photo and tell me how it tasted and came out.
