This dropshipping method will help you sky rocket from the start.
(Step 1) Online Store
For this tutorial we will be using Shopify to create our online store. I will have a more in depth tutorial later but the basics are, signing up for the Shopify free 90 day trial here (non-ref link) and put in your card information to be able to start selling, it won't charge you. You can find another tutorial online to learn the basics, what apps to get, what theme to use, etc. but I will be coming out with one soon.
(Step 2) The Domain
You can find cheap domain names, but the goal of this tutorial is to start dropshipping for no money. So there's 2 options, you can use the .myshopify.com sub-domain, which I would not recommend at all because it looks extremely unprofessional. Or you can use a .tk, .ml, .cf, .ga, or .gq. I personally use .tk or .cf for my stores but you can use any of them. These are free domains, you can get them from here (non-ref link), but you do have to make an account, one to manage the domain, and two if you don't they will all show up as unavailable.
(Step 3) The Traffic
The final step is to drive traffic to you're online store. There's two different ways to do this, both involve influencer marketing or advertising through instagram pages. First of all, you need to find a smaller Instagram page in you're niche, for example if i am selling makeup I would want to find a beauty theme page on instagram preferably with about 10k to 30k followers. Most larger pages won't accept you're offer. Before you do this you need to understand infulencers probably aren't going to be scrambling to take your offer so your going to get turned down and not responded to a lot. Ok so the first way is to offer the influencer the product. For example say Hi, my name is John Doe and I am the owner of Fancy Make Up Brushes LLC, and I would like to offer you one of our make up brushes in exchange for a shout out. This is not the best way because if you don't make any sales you will have to pay for it out of your own pocket and pages generally accept this next method more. The second way is to offer them a certain cut of the profits. They usually don't take anything below 50/50, which is fine because any amount of sales is profit.
(Step 4) Reinvest
I know I said step 3 was the last step but this is an optional step. With the profits you hopefully made you want to reinvest into your store. Find a better supplier, get branded products, have products sent to a fulfillment center for better shipping times, etc. It may feel good to have that $50, $100, or $200 available for you to spend right now, but if you reinvest you can create a stable income of $100,000+ annually. You shouldn't look at dropshipping as a get rich quick scheme, because it's not unless you make it that, you can turn it into a business and create financial stability for the rest of your life. Hopefully you choose to follow this step and change your life.
