Sooo, I bought a new pair of headphones: Sony's WH-1000XM5. Their audio quality is very good, ANC is amazing, and the extra features are nice to have as well (remove headphones to stop the music for example).
I never had that feature before and I do like it a lot.
But I have a dilemma.
I have had my older pair of headphones for almost 4 years; Bose QC 35 II. They were amazing as well, but they have had their fair share of use. The ear pads need a replacement every year and the headphones sometimes turn off out of nowhere lol.
I wanted an upgrade and picked the XM5's. Sony's LDAC + their better ANC made me choose the XM5's.
But here's the problem: the inside of the ear pads aren't that big. My ears were totally fine in the Bose headphones, but with Sony's, my left ear touches the inside padding and it results in a heavy pressure point after 10 minutes of use. I can wear the Bose's for hours and hours with no pain at all.
I know that we have to get used to new things, change etc. But I also know it's a fact that their insides aren't as big as Bose's. More people online complained about this.
I don't know what to do.
Does someone have experience with over-ear headphones and can either relate to this or give me some advice. It would suck to bring them back since this problem is the only problem I have, but it's not a small problem either.
Thanks in advance
