Hello all,
Ever since I got my first phone, I've always been an Android user and made fun of Apple's ridiculous prices.
But as time goes by, all my friends and work colleagues are switching from Android to Apple, even though most of them are in the IT field.
I was always very google-dependent in terms of mail photos etc. and I'm not sure if a google-user will be satisfied on an IOS-platform.
My main reason for switching are all of those random minor bugs like rotating your phone which makes the whole platform lag and so on...
I don't expect this to happen on such optimized ecosystems as IOS.
Currently I'm strongly considering upgrading from my Galaxy M51 to an iPhone 13 Pro.
What do you think? Buy a better Android or switch to iPhone?
//EDIT 2 weeks later
I returned the iphone 13 pro.
Shortly after setting up the iPhone I fell in love with the software, how everything just works together, very little bugs and just such a smooth user experience.
After testing it for a week I began to be really unhappy with the general ergonomics of the phone, the multitasking handling and the casual small movements.
No universal back button, not being able to close multiple apps, not being able to install third party apps and very little options to customize to your demands made me switch back to android.
Looking forward to the new Galaxy S22.
TLDR; Don't just follow the mainstream, pick which one you like yourself.
