Good day everyone,
I have just purchased VPS hosting, and the provider wants a scan of my ID.
"Within the next 5 days, provide proof of identity for the business name and the business account holder by means of fax or e-mail. The following forms of identification are required:
1 of the following from the business
- Business Registration Documents
- Articles of Incorporation
- Tax Documents
1 of the follow from business account holder
- Driver's License
- Passport
- National ID
- Immigration Visa
- Military ID"
Now my question is.. Can I photoshop some crap and send it over to them. Can/will they verify if the ID is valid or it's just to keep on file.
Also any reccomendations for affordable bulletproof hosts? I'll mostly host IRC and scripts, HTTP stuff after I figure out the whole tor routing thing.
