Everywhere you go, you're being encouraged to enter your personal details, so tech companies like Facebook can sell them to any third-party that asks, to do whatever shit they want with it.
I can remember a time where you were considered an idiot if you put your personal information online, but now you're expected and forced to do exactly that for a lot of things that would work just fine without them.

However, what annoys me the most is the urge to political correctness, opinion making, and the restriction of freedom of speech.
It's not a secret that we no longer have the freedom of speech with social media dictating us what's "good" and what's "bad", and if we express an unpopular opinion like "Trump isn't that bad, he's done some good things for America.", we're being marked as racist and bad people, because the unanimous opinion about him is that he's bad, because media says so, and there's always the risk of losing your job over harmless opinions that don't hurt anyone, but aren't compliant with left politics.
Wouldn't even surprise me if you will soon land in jail for saying something politically incorrect.
The internet is no longer a place of freedom, privacy and anonimity, it's become a thing of control by companies and governments that want to know everything about us, and want to tell us what's allowed and what's not allowed for us to do.
