What type of proxies are better for cracking?

Usually use SOCKS5, but wondering if HTTP/HTTPS is better for cracking.
Also another question: Is it okay to re-use socks5 or http/https proxies? Like say I was cracking and after a certain amount of attempts to login on 1 proxy, it blocks it from logging in. If I reuse that proxy after using plenty of others, will it still be blocked?
