I have no idea why I was thinking about stuff like this, but I was bored af earlier and heres what I came up with
If, for the entire duration of their life up until this point, someone was kept away from the color white, would it still seem like the absence of color?
Or, to them, would it seem as if White was a brand new color that they had simply never seen before. Or perhaps they would feel it was the one "color" that was always missing from their lives.
Same with smells. If someone was subjected to various smells for all of their life, but never to simply pure, scentless air, would this scentless environment be percieved as the absence of smell, or a brand new smell?
