I know we all have those moments where we start raging, and generally be "toxic" as it is known to the League community. Being toxic can drastically lower your win rate because your team mates generally tend to play worse when you're raging at them. Here are some things you can do that will overall let you calm down and stop being toxic.
Step 1 - Play some calming music, whatever genre of music that is calming to you. For me, drum and bass is calming and relaxing to play the game with. What does playing music do? It allows you to focus less on what others are saying and just focusing on your gameplay.
Step 2 - Mute toxic players/disable all chat. As soon as .you see someone say anything negative, just don't hesitate to mute them. Focusing on your chat can distract you from your gameplay. The reason why you should disable all chat is because the other team can distract you too by bad mannering you (calling you bad, etc).
Also, check out these links which will help with this problem.
"How to improve rank at any division [League of Legends]"
post which is related to dota 2 ( but has the same concept as league of legends ) gives you an idea on what flaming actually does.
Gbay99 telling you how to recover from a lost lane. Most of the stuff he mentions is what alot of people do too, so this will help.
Hopefully these simple steps help you from preventing "tilt" and maybe change your thoughts on being toxic or not. Feel free to +1 if this was helpful.
