Well then, What is a torrent?
Lets go over a few definitions before we define torrents and how to use em.

• Seeds: Number of peers who have already downloaded the files, and are currently uploading them.
• Peers (or Leechers): A leecher is any peer that does not have the entire file and is downloading the file.
• Trackers: A tracker is a server that keeps track of which seeds and peers are in the swarm (swarm: all peers sharing a torrent - uploading or downloading).
• Pieces: This refers to the torrented files being divided up into equal specific sized pieces (e.g., 64kB, 128kB, 512kB, 1MB, 2MB or 4MB). The pieces are distributed in a random fashion among peers in order to optimize trading efficiency.

Torrent: A torrent is a file format. This file format contains information, like all files. Only this information is not (for example) a picture, but rather a bunch of 'leechers' and 'seeders' and 'trackers' that will help you download 'pieces' You are one part of a whole when downloading a torrent. When torrenting you're downloading information for multiple locations, these locations can be servers, but can also be your mom. Anyone that is 'seeding' the torrent is giving you bits of information you're missing. The more seeders the more information can come in! So when you're done with torrenting you should seed, by this you're giving others information you have but they're missing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to torrent:

• Go to a trusted site for trusted torrents. Have some common sense when downloading,
  NEVER DOWNLOAD EXES THEY'RE ADS!!
• after you have the .torrent you open it with a program that can process torrents. An all time favorite is 'utorrent' Very popular program.
• Click okay in the prompting message. and there we go! it's loaded in!

What's happening now is that utorrent (or anything else) is using the information of the .torrent and loading in the trackers for you to download.
