Can riot ban my IP

I was using account checker and messing around with some accounts without using VPN. Suddenly i wasn't able to log-in to accounts from the client anymore. I tried many including mine but it didn't work then i decided to try with my VPN turned on and it worked. Does that mean i cant use my IP anymore to log in to league ?
