Not all people have the willpower to quit smoking abruptly, especially if a person smokes 2 packs a day. A couple of hours after quitting cigarettes, you will go into withdrawal. You will begin to feel attacks of anger, irritation, anxiety, and you will want to smoke.
Getting rid of nicotine "addiction" is a very difficult stage.
A way that can change your life.
First: Find an incentive to quit smoking.
Second: Start reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke per day.
This way you won't have withdrawal, you won't have anger attacks.
If you work from home, and you smoke 30 cigarettes a day, put these 30 cigarettes on the table in front of you or on the kitchen table and stretch them out over the whole day.
For this period, buy yourself some mints, which are good for you, but you should not get carried away with candy, because replacing one habit with another is not good. Nevertheless, they will help a lot.
Before going to bed we put 30 cigarettes on the table. In the morning you woke up at 9 am - smoked one, 29 left. Now you need to stretch them out for the rest of the day. And so continue every day, gradually reducing the number of cigarettes.
On the third or fourth day of the struggle - leave 28 cigarettes on the table, on the fifth or sixth day - 27, and every day reduce the number of cigarettes. After a month you will come to the point where you only have a couple cigarettes a day.
Even if you don't quit smoking completely in the first month, you will have significantly reduced your nicotine intake, which is much better than nothing. In that case, quitting completely
