Perhaps you don't like having a boss. Maybe you live in a Tier 3 country.
Whatever the reason, there are lots of ways to earn money online in 2020 and here is one of them. You can host for $10 a month and pay another $9 for a domain. If you do keyword reseach and write content yourself then you can get first page Google rankings for your time + $69.
I'm going to use Coronavirus as the example.
Making Money Online With Content: What You Need To Know in 2020
This is the easiest way that I can think of to get started earning passive income in 2020.
Step 1: Make a WordPress Site
WordPress has lots of templates and plugins to help make your site look authoritative in 2020 so I recommend starting out with it.
You can host Wordpress yourself on a server, get hosting from the BHW Marketplace, host it on a cloud platform like Microsoft Azure or get dedicated WordPress hosting (just search for this in Google).
Step 2: How are you going to monetize?
There are three types of searches
[*]Transactional Search Queries.
[*]Navigational Search Queries.
[*]Informational Search Queries
Transactional: Buy n95 Mask
Navigational: World Health Organization
Informational: What are the symptoms of Coronavirus?
To monetize transactional searches you can use affiliate offers in your copy and get paid a commission. For informational searches you can run banner ads (as an example). For navigational searches, forget it.
So, if for example you want to make money from informational searches you registered a domain like CoronaVirusGuide.com, connect it to wordpress and then write articles about your subject.
Step 3: Keyword Research
There are paid tools you can use or you can get keywords for free by searching on Google and see what comes up on the drop down menu. If you have a credit card sign up for Google Ads and you can get some more detailed statistics from the Google Keyword Planner.
Another idea is to use the allintitle: modifier, if you have keywords with less than 500 allintitle competitor pages, it is worth another look. You can also divide the monthly searches of your keyword by the allintitle competitors to get a ratio to see how easy it will be to get on the first page.
So if you put in Coronavirus, you get some following search terms you can use to make articles:
Coronavirus Older People
Coronavirus Symptoms
Coronavirus Vaccine
Coronavirus Update -
Coronavirus Update Stock Market
Coronavirus Update USA
Coronavirus Update Map
Coronavirus Update Italy

Step 4: Get Content
If you are just starting out it might be a good idea to write a few general articles on your subject matter, writing as much as it is possible to write whilst giving new information to your viewers in each sentence (without adding to the word count with garbage sentences). You could easily get to 6,000 words or more.
After you have got the hang of this you can write specific articles based on keyword research against low competition search queries - aim for 2,500 words or higher.
If you keep doing this for 6 months, your site will build authority and it will be easier to get organic inbound traffic.
